How To Get There:
Getting to Bagtik Peak is relatively straightforward. Travelers can hop on a Ceres bus bound for Don Salvador Benedicto, whether they're coming from Bacolod City or San Carlos City. Tell the bus driver or conductor to drop you off at Bangga Myerkulesan. The bus fare (as of this writing) is around 30 - 50 pesos if you're coming from San Carlos City, or 180 - 200 pesos if you’re coming from Bacolod South Bus Terminal.
From San Carlos City, the journey to the jump-off point takes a mere 30 minutes, while those traveling from Bacolod City can expect a scenic 2.5-hour ride.
The hike to Bagtik Peak is characterized by its gentle slopes and lush surroundings. Along the trail, hikers are greeted by the sight of grazing cows and friendly dogs, adding to the charm of the journey. The refreshing breeze and the rustling of leaves create a symphony of nature, rejuvenating the senses with every step.
Guide Fee
For the best experience, it's advisable to start hiking early in the morning to beat the heat. While the trail offers minimal shade, the captivating scenery more than compensates for any discomfort. Guides are available to accompany hikers for a fee of 150 pesos per head, although the amount is flexible to some guides like the ones we had, allowing visitors to contribute any amount they want to pay.
At Bagtik Peak
Upon reaching the peak, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The crisp mountain air and cool breeze provide a welcome respite, especially during the tranquil evenings. To fully enjoy the experience, it's recommended to bring along a windbreaker jacket and pajamas for added comfort during chilly nights.
Campers will appreciate the convenient amenities offered at Bagtik Peak, including access to clean water, and rest room. For a nominal fee of 100 pesos per head, you can avail a designated camping area and water supply, courtesy of the lot owner.

Additionally, witnessing the majestic sunrise atop the peak is a must-do activity, offering a magical spectacle of nature's wonders, so be sure to wake before the sunrises.
